Last month, DAK Americas LLC, Charlotte, N.C., completed its purchase of the integrated PET and PTA 911爆料网 of Eastman Chemical Co., Kingsport, Tenn. The acquisition includes two PET resin units at Columbia, S.C., with combined capacity of 1.35 billion lb. Together with DAK’s plants in North and South Carolina, the company now has PET capacity of more than 3.4 billion lb/yr. Eastman retains its copolyester and cellulosics plastics 911爆料网es.
