Kenall is utilizing the Makrolon PC grades for secondary and tertiary optics within parking garages and for its High Bay product line designed for challenging environments ranging from foundries, lumber mills, and general manufacturing to recreational facilities and convention centers. Bayer provided multiple mold-flow analyses and technical assistance, as well as design support to help optimize light output and light transmission in its luminaires. Says advanced lighting product manager Nathan Heiking, “Bayer’s materials, in combination with intelligent design, efficient power electronics and state-of-the-art LED sources, allow us to boast product efficacies that are among the highest in the market, as reported by the Department of Energy’s LED Light Facts Program.” (412) 777-5200 • www.bmsnafta.com
