Charter NEX Acquires Optimum Plastics
The acquisition brings together two producers of specialty films.
PE film producer , Milton, Wis., has completed the acquisition of Optimum Plastics, Bloomer, Wis.
Charter NEX supplies flexible packaging converters with a broad array of products, from monolayer to high barrier films, for the retail food, consumer products, industrial and medical markets. is a producer of custom engineered cast embossed and high barrier coextruded blown films for the packaging, medical and industrial markets.

Following the transaction, Bolhous will continue to serve as CEO and Keneally will be appointed president and Chief Commercial Officer, reporting to Bolhous.
