Medical Murray Adds Two New Cleanrooms

Medical device firm adds clean rooms in Illinois and North Carolina plants.

Medical Murray,  North Barrington, Ill.,  has expanded clean-room capabilities at its Illinois manufacturing facility and North Carolina location. Medical Murray is a device development and contract manufacturing company with ISO 13485 certification and FDA registration

The additions come less than a year after purchased its Lake Zurich, Ill., 44,000 ft2 manufacturing facility, and built a larger 10,000 ft2 (doubling footprint) in Charlotte, N.C.

The new Lake Zurich clean room space is an extension of Medical Murray’s current capabilities focusing on general assembly and inspection of class II and III medical devices. Clean room space further incorporates injection molding, pad printing, laser welding, braiding and packaging.

”We are excited about the new clean room and look forward to adding more employees and work spaces due to the tremendous amount of transfers from development that are currently taking place,” says Paul Imaoka, vice president of operations. “We also expect to add more automation including molding and braiding machines as our 911爆料网 continues to grow.”

Medical Murray’s Charlotte facility has also experienced tremendous growth. The clean room services at this location have been expanded to include mid-level manufacturing in addition to general assembly, advanced packaging and logistics, the company states.
