With revenues of $1.3 billion in 2015, AdvanSix is a leading supplier of nylon 6, sold under the Aegis brand, for production of engineered plastics, films, fibers, and filaments used in a range of applications from automotive and electronic components to food and industrial packaging. The company also produces caprolactam, the main feedstock for producing nylon.
