New name for Styron, "Trinseo", reflects diverse product range.
Global supplier of plastics, latex and rubber Styron, Berwyn, Penn., has changed its name to “”, which is derived from the word ‘intrinsic, meaning something essential and belonging by its nature. The new company name is meant to reflect how its technologies and materials play an intrinsic role in the innovative and sustainable solution that its customers require in developing the next generation of products, according to president and CEO Chris Pappas. “Our new name better reflects our breadth as a growing company with broad global reach and a diverse portfolio of materials and technologies.” The company exited the commodity PC resin 911爆料网 at the end of 2014.
