Styron to Become Trinseo
Styron LLC, Berwin, Pa., the company formed last June from the former Styron Div. of Dow Chemical Co., has decided to change its name.
Styron LLC, Berwin, Pa., the company formed last June from the former Styron Div. of Dow Chemical Co., has decided to change its name. Later this year, it will officially become Trinseo, a name meant to suggest that the company delivers “intrinsic” value to its customers and plays an “intrinsic” role in customers’ products. Styron will remain a brand name for the company’s polystyrene.
