Superior Die Set Announces New Hire And A Promotion
Brandon Haffelder joins as a process engineer and Derrick Gilane, outside sales engineer, will now represent the company in Missouri, Kansas and Southern Illinois.
Superior Die Set Corp., Oak Creek, Wis., recently welcomed Process Engineer Brandon Haffelder to its manufacturing team. He will work on improving manufacturing efficiency and accuracy, while also improving product flow. Haffelder is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering. During his time at UWM, Brandon interned for two years as a manufacturing engineer, and prior to that he served seven years in the United States Air Force.
Superior Die also announced that Outside Sales Engineer Derrick Gilane will now represent the company in Missouri, Kansas and Southern Illinois. Since 2003, he has been working at Superior in different departments. While working, Derrick continued his college education and earned his bachelor’s degree in 2011 from Cardinal Stritch University in Business Administration.
Founded in 1923, Superior Die Set is a manufacturer of die sets, mold bases, pins/bushings, three platen presses, cut-and-ground machined plate, fabrications and forging products. The company operates four plants: two in the U.S. and two in Europe.
