At last month’s Plast 2018 show in Milan, Italy, representatives of Sytrama told Plastics Technology that the maker of injection molding robots would move its U.S. headquarters from New Castle, Del. (sharing space with sister company Negri Bossi), to Canton, Mich., largely to be closer to automotive customers. What’s more, Sytrama plans to begin U.S. assembly of robots at the new 32,300-ft2 facility, which it plans to occupy by the end of this year or early in 2019.
