Formerra Partners With Evonik for Expansion of High-Performance Nylons
The company will distribute several of Evonik’s Vestamid materials in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.

has entered into a strategic partnership with Evonik, a global provider of nylon 12 and high-performance nylons, which enables Formerra to distribute Evonik’s nylons and sustainable materials in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Additionally, these materials are accessible in Mexico courtesy of Formerra's recent acquisition of Suministro de Especialidades.
Specifically, Formerra will distribute the following materials:
• Vestamid L nylon 12
• Vestamid E nylon 12 elastomer
• Vestamid D nylon 612
• Trogamid CX (transparent and microcrystalline nylons)
Sustainable grades:
• Vestamid eCO (nylon12)
• Vestamid RFP (nylon12)
• Vestamid Terra (nylons 610 and 1010)
Evonik’s materials enable Formerra to enter new markets such as aerospace and oil & gas. Evonik will play a key role in helping Formerra to accomplish this growth. In addition, Formerra will be able to support current and future customers with logistics, warehousing, technical service and speed to market.
