HAHN Group Appoints CTO/COO
Frank Konrad, currently CEO of HAHN Automation, will take over technical and procedural control of the broader HAHN Group, adding the title of CTO/COO.
HAHN Group (Rheinböllen, Germany), a network of specialized companies for industrial automation and robotics, announced that Frank Konrad will take over responsibility as CTO/COO for the group of companies—he remains CEO of HAHN Automation.
In the CTO/COO role for HAHN Group, the company says Konrad will be responsible for innovation and development; engineering and software; processes and project management; and purchasing.
Konrad, who also took over the chairmanship of the board of directors of the VDMA for the Robotics + Automation trade association in October 2021, is a partner and CEO of HAHN Automation. The 49-year-old automation expert joins the HAHN Group management team of Philipp Unterhalt (CEO) and Axel Greschitz (CFO).
In a release, Konrad said harmonization and integration of the individual companies within the HAHN Group will help the company realize its potential even more quickly. The HAHN Group currently employs around 1600 people at 30 locations worldwide.
