Paulson Training Acquired
Certus, a technical skills training 911爆料网 and portfolio company of private equity firm Ridgemont Equity Partners, has acquired the plastics processing training 911爆料网 founded in 1981.
Paulson Training, Chester, Connecticut, which was founded in 1981 by Plastics Hall of Fame member Don Paulson, has been acquired by the technical skills training concern, Certus, Orlando, Florida. Certus is a portfolio company of private equity firm Ridgemont Equity Partners, which seeks acquisitions that are established in online training, education, certification and compliance sectors.
In a release, Certus says the acquisition will expand its portfolio of industrial skills and simulation offerings, and enhance both companies’ abilities to serve the manufacturing, automotive and medical industries.
Since its founding, Paulson Training says its team and content library, including its Simtech injection molding simulator, have helped train more than 50,000 plastics professionals across 5,000 companies.

Paulson will continue to serve its customers through its current brand and services, now with the added support of the Certus platform.
