PTXPO Preview: All-Electric KraussMaffei Loaded With Digital Assistants
The all-electric KraussMaffei 80-180PX injection molding machine will be integrated with the company’s socialProduction, Remote Manager, APC Plus and smartOperation software.
At (March 18-20 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois), KraussMaffei will be running an 80-180PX all-electric injection molding machine fully outfitted with its socialProduction monitoring, Remote Manager network integration, APC Plus dynamic control and smartOperation software programs.
All those digital assistants will be deployed in the molding of a KraussMaffei golf divot repair tool, ball marker and four 3" tees. Molded from a KraussMaffei blue ABS with logo, the golf accessories will be produced in one shot in a roughly half-minute cycle time utilizing a family mold from Prospect Mold. A KraussMaffei LRX50 linear robot will remove the parts.
