The Meca500 handles payloads up to 500 g (1.1 lb) with what the company calls “unmatched accuracy” of 0.005 mm. There is no proprietary  programming language to learn, only a simple set of instructions, says Mecademic. Available since 2016, the Meca500 has been used for testing, inspection, micro-assembly, dispensing, and transfer of materials in confined spaces.
