Conveyor Offers Quick Material Transfer
A 30% larger feed inlet promotes high flow rates with non-free flowing materials.
The new Spiralfeeder screw conveyor from , Clifton, N.J., automatically transfers powders, pellets, and other dry, bulk materials from its high-capacity hopper into mixers, reactors, tablet presses, or other equipment at various stages in the process. Devised to promote fast, efficient flow of flow-resistant, semi-free flowing, and other challenging materials, the Spiralfeeder features a 30% larger infeed hopper area than the company's original screw conveyor for consistent flow at the inlet without clogging, bridging or ratholing.
Available in five standard sizes plus custom sizes to suit any application, the new design also increases ground clearance under the hopper for easy emptying and convenient capture of residual materials for reuse, plus a modular, hinged safety grate system allows for easy access to the interior when power to the auger is shut off.
The flexible screw conveyor is also available with a choice of optional accessories such as a material agitator or vibrator for enhanced material flow, and a mobility package that sets the entire conveying system on casters.

Product and performance testing are offered live in person and online by live stream from the on-site test center.
