Full Line of Hardened Ejector Pins
Suited for molding with high-glass-content resins, Regal’s Thru-Tuff Ejector Pins are made from M-2 high speed steel.
Regal Components Inc. (East Providence, R.I.) has introduced the Thru-Tuff Ejector Pins line of hardened ejector pins in straight and shoulder styles, including a wide range of sizes, including larger diameters and longer lengths. Ideally suited for molding with high-glass-content resins, Regal Thru-Tuff Ejector Pins are made from M-2 high speed steel, and they feature heads annealed and hardened throughout to Rc 60-63. Regal says they are precision ground to a 4-10 RMS surface finish and 0.0003-in total tolerance.
Sizes range from 1/32 to 1/2-in pin diameter and lengths of 6, 8 and 10 inches. The pins are available from stock in all sizes including oversize and four-place decimal diameters. Straight and shoulder styles are in 1/2 to 4 inches in fractional diameters, as well as +0.0005, 0.001, 0.002 and 0.005 in. Non-standard diameters in 0.0001-in increments from 0.0309 in. can also be made to order. The pins are priced from $2.41 to $7.12 each, and a catalog that includes complete pricing is available upon request.
