Atlas Material Testing Technology, Chicago, will present the newly redesigned and upgraded Suntest XLS+. Adding a digitally controlled specimen spray turns this flatbed lightfastness tester into a full-fledged weathering instrument. Although it won’t launch until September, Atlas will also talk about a new UV fluorescent testing device to replace the UV2000. The focus of the redesign was improved flexibility and ease of use. The new UVTest will have a stackable option—and it will have the unique ability to incorporate spray when stacked, Atlas says.
