Pre-Machined, Drilled Thermal Insulating Sheets
The sheets from Hasco feature pre-drilled holes for guide pillars, clamp plate screws, centering flanges and fixing holes.
Hasco has introduced drilled thermal insulating sheets for preventing uncontrolled heat dissipation into a molding machine’s clamping plates. Pre-machined as standard, the insulating sheets feature high thermal compressive strength, and are said to be suitable for use in high stress tools.
The sheets have pre-drilled holes for guide pillars, clamp plate screws, a centering flange and fixing holes. Three different versions are available: Z12010/… for overhanging in the lateral direction; Z12012/… for overhanging in the longitudinal direction; and Z12015/… for flush clamping plates.
Hasco says the sheets’ insulative properties can lead to energy savings of up to 50%. Made from a high-temperature resin infused with high-grade glass fibers, the thermal insulating sheets are said to feature strong dimensional stability, with a thermal coefficient of expansion that’s comparable to steel. For medical and clean room environments, customers can select a special high-performance coating that seals the surface and protects it from abrasion.

Hasco’s thermal insulating sheets come with pre-drilled holes as standard.
