Tooling: Flexible, Non-Twisting, Kink-Resistant Hosing
EPDM hose with textile reinforcement can be used to run water or steam.
Hasco’s new line of hoses—Z8525/—is made from EPDM and features synthetic textile reinforcement. Available in red, blue and black, the hosing allows for simplified installation and quick visual identification of heating vs. cooling lines.
Hasco says the reinforcement lends strength to the hoses, while keeping them flexible and able to resist twisting and kinking. The EPDM material is suitable for operating pressures of up to 20 bar (290 psi) and a temperature range of -70°C to 140°C (-94°F to 284°F). Ready made hoses are available in diameters of 9, 13 and 19 mm (1/3, ½ and ¾ inch) and standard lengths of 10 and 50 m (33 and 164 ft). Special lengths are available on request.
