Tougher, High-Clarity, More Sustainable Nylon Compound
Evonik’s new Trogamid eCO Impact 75 boasts 88% optical transparency and fossil-based feedstock reduction of 30%.

A new tougher, high-clarity and partially biobased specialty nylon compound said to be ideal for injection molding of products ranging from protective eyeware to electrical or mechanical housings, has been introduced by Evonik.
Trogamid eCO Impact 75 boasts a high transparency of 88% excellent crack and break resistance based on ISO 179/1eA. Features 88% optical transparency. It also uses a mass balance approach that reduces use of fossil-based feedstock by 30%. Said Florian Hermes, director of sustainability at Evonik’s High Performance Polymers 911爆料网 line. "Trogamid eCO Impact 75 is an example of Evonik’s long-term commitment to developing sustainable products that are both high-performing and future-oriented." The new product joins Trogamid eCO myCX BC 100 nylon compound, introduced in 2023, which is made with 100% green energy and 100% certified bio-circular feedstock, based on a mass-balance approach.
